Stick with the Plan
Stick with the Plan - Faith: It’s A Family Adventure
Just like you taught your children how to walk and talk naturally, we are responsible for them spiritually too. As a parent, you are also charged by God to help them learn how to walk by faith & how to talk by faith. Not only do these actions please God, but it is the only way to see their prayers answered. In the Old Testament, we see the prophet Elisha with the poor lady who had nothing but some oil in her house. Elisha told her to gather vessels and begin to fill them with the oil. This lady involved her sons in this miracle. They would hand her another pot to fill. This was a family faith adventure. It was together as they obeyed the prophet and stepped out by faith that they saw the miracle of provision. Today, be inspired to involve your children or those you are discipling to believe and expect God’s miracles with you.
Stick with the Plan Jesus Changes Everything #234
Jesus changes everything! When you call upon His name you access miracle working power. In this video, you’ll hear the testimony of my friend Julie. She had back surgery where the doctors placed two metal rods in her back. For 12 years, she suffered with great pain. While I was speaking at her church, in my heart the Lord showed me a back that was pinched in pain. When she heard me say that, she came down for prayer, believing she’d be touched by God. I laid my hands on her back and prayed in Jesus’ name. The pain left her. Praise God! One miracle is worth a 1,000 sermons. Need a miracle today? Believe in the name of Jesus, have faith in His name, He changes everything!
Stick with the Plan - An Open Door #233
God has an open door for you. Every trial has brought you to this place. Every hurt on the journey has led you to this open door. Look at what the word of God says, “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” Revelation 3:8 NKJV This opportunity, this open door, is given by God and no man can stop the promotion God has in store for you to walk in. Every thing in your life has prepared you for this time to go on through the door. God is saying I have seen all your works and you have remained faithful to the calling. Know today, you are well prepared to walk in this open door.
Stick with the Plan - Get Dressed #232
It’s easy to feel stressed out and frustrated in life. God tells us in His word there’s a cure for that. Just like you’d take a Tylenol for a headache, you can put on praise when you feel down in the dumps. Here is what God’s word says about it, “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”” Isaiah 61:3 NKJV There is a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. In other words, GET DRESSED WHEN YOU FEEL STRESSED! It’s tempting to lay around all day in your pjs when you don’t feel good, but just by getting dressed you can improve your mood. Imagine how much more putting on the garment of praise can remove all the stress weighing you down. Put on praise today and allow His joy to be your strength.
Stick with the Plan - Look Again #231
We live by faith and not by sight. Yet, we are going to see what we are believing for. Just because the situations doesn’t change immediately after you pray, don’t stop expecting to see your answer. In the Bible, the prophet Elijah asked God for rain after three years without it. He told his servant to look again seven times to check for rain after he prayed. His servant didn’t report any change until the last time. He said, “I see a cloud the size of a man’s hand.” Elijah was quick to receive that report as his answer for rain. And the rain came! Be encouraged today to, “Look Again,” and know God will do what He promised.
Stick with the Plan - Joy Comes in the Morning #230
God has turned my mourning into dancing, my sorrows into JOY! The Bible says in Psalm 30:5, “Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY comes in the morning.” I want to encourage you today that Jesus came to give you His JOY so that your JOY would remain full. You may have seen the darkest of nights, but there’s supernatural joy from heaven that will be your strength. Don’t give up, whatever the trial you’re going through, choose JOY and expect God to turn your situation around.
Stick With The Plan - Whose Report Will You Believe?
What do you do when you have received a negative report? Or when bad news comes your way? Instead of accepting the evil report, I what to challenge you to believe the report of the Lord. God’s report says you are free, saved, and healed. It’s a good report. You can believe what God says about you above the negative report. My dad would say, “If you’re going to doubt anything, doubt the doubt! Not what God says!” Jesus called the devil the father of lies. If Jesus said he was a liar, then we know not to believe a word he says to us. Let’s allow God’s report to be true and every other report a lie!
Stick with the Plan - How to dominate the Devil #228
Don’t allow the devil to dominate your life. God made you to rule and to reign in this life as a king. Kings don’t take orders they give them. You are to dictate to enemy. He is not allowed to steal from your finances, rob you of your peace, or take your health. Jesus has defeated the devil for us. The enemy has been stripped of all his authority and power when Jesus rose from the dead. This authority has been delegated to us who believe. Be encouraged today and stand boldly in your authority to dominate the devil.
Stick with the Plan - This means War #227
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11 NKJV When the enemy brings an attack against you of devastating news or a bad report, remember to stand strong and wear the armor of God. Declare, “This means war!” We fight our battles wearing this armor and using the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. This is how we overcome! In the trying times, we are well equipped to fight and win, because if God be for us, then who could be against us.
Stick With The Plan - No Excuses #226
Excuses don’t win. They don’t bring the results or the victories desired. You might remember a sports coach saying, “No excuses on the court!” We cannot allow our excuses to hold us back. May times throughout your life, God will give you a dream that’s bigger than you. And if you’re not careful, you’ll start to allow the excuses of this natural world, your own limitations, to rob you of this dream. The truth is... God is unlimited! He knows how to use you to make that dream come to pass.
Stick With The Plan - Something Happens When I Call Your Name #225
Put power in your prayers when you ask in the name of Jesus. When you have faith in His name, something happens when I call His name. Jesus takes personal responsibility when we pray in His name. Look in the Bible at John 14:14, Jesus says, “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” These prayers get special attention, Jesus takes them right to the Father God. It is God’s joy to recognize that name. He gave Jesus a name above every name that at mention of His name every knee would bow and every tongue. That name gives us the power over all our enemies. Let your prayer go right to the top as you pray in the name of Jesus.
Stick with the Plan - You Have To Show Up # 224
I have a fitness app on my phone and the lady says, “ You can’t just subscribe, you must show up!” Meaning, she can’t get the results for you. I immediately started thinking about the Christian life. We can’t just own a Bible, we must read it and apply it to enjoy the benefits. We can’t just go to church and sit on a pew, we must participate to receive the blessing. No one can praise God for you. God says he’s looking for worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We can’t just dial in our service to the Lord. In the word it says, “...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” If we want the blessing of God in our lives, we must show up and do all things until the Lord.
